“So REJOICE”

“So REJOICE”

1Thessalonians. 5:16-18Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I know this verse seems like a very hard thing to do, especially in a place where you are at, but lets think about this for a minute:

When you woke up this morning, instead of seeing the prison guards, the prison walls, the razor wire, the gun towers, did you thank God you can see? Did you thank God your sight is still there? Please, remember there are some today who can't see! There are some today who can't read, can't see a sunrise, can't see the clouds.

Did you thank God all your body parts work? That you can walk? That you have a roof over your head? That you have a bed to sleep in? Clothes on your back? Shoes on your feet? Food to eat? Now, I do realize it may not be a roof of your choosing, a bed of your choice, clothes you want and like and are in style or even shoes of your choice or the food you want-HOWEVER, there are many on the streets today who could use those very things! There are some who don't have an arm, or leg, that are sleeping in cars, relying on anyone for a bit of food to feed their family, who have no shoes, no bed, except for the cardboard box they claim as home.

I don't say this to you to depress you, but have you give thanks. See God knows your very needs, and believe it or not-HE has supplied them.

So Rejoice!!
