Way back when, the college days sitting on the ground in front of the classroom door waiting for my professor to arrive I sat reading my Bible. Growing up in what the world calls a Christian home, doesn't really mean that your parents are Christians, what I mean is going to church and doing the Christian thing, doesn't really mean you know Jesus or even love Him. I had super natural encounters with Jesus as a child, and as a teenager so I guess I was what the world called a Christian because I believed. It's like Jesus is your Savior but not Lord of your life. The truth of the matter is a good Bible preaching preacher or just someone that loves the Lord will tell you the truth that Jesus must be Lord of your life & Savior, not just Savior.
You must die to yourself, pick up your cross and follow Jesus daily.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, period. The Bible says that the path to destruction is broad and many are on that path, the path to life is a very narrow road and "very few" find it.
This concerns me deeply.
This causes me to care for all humans on this planet to surrender to a true love relationship with Jesus. It's more than the simple Love God. Love People. Um, you really have to love God and love people, it's not a slogan or the great suggestion,
you really have to LOVE the LORD and LOVE PEOPLE.
It's Agape LOVE. The Unconditional kind. The no matter what kind.
I got to digging in the Word myself and
I totally was transformed by the Bible.
I love God's Word.
It truly came alive for me, no lie. I would sit and read the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and it was like I was transformed right into the actual scene walking the streets on dusty roads with Jesus.
I could see, smell and feel His presence.
The point I wanted to stress and passionate in sharing is that Jesus is alive and after I read my Bible everything changed. I believe with my WHOLE HEART that if you spent time reading the Bible, Jesus would come alive for you too!!!
So there...TOTALY...Passionate about passing out what changed my life.
